ALGAE DRYING RACK

Tools of collecting and drying seaweed simply include waterproof boots, plastic shopping bags, scissors and window screens. The simplicity of engagement is beautiful on its own but I wanted to take this opportunity to over-design an object for drying and appreciation of the process.
The drying racks plate was mimicked after the colander kelp, naturally growing holes giving the impression of delicate lacy. Its net like structure was ideal to use as a pattern for a drying rack, algae supporting algae.
